The MFF budget and financial instruments must be deployed as part of an integrated EU Cleantech Industrial Strategy. It is critical to ensure they are deployed on the technologies the EU has identified as strategic priorities, together with other policy instruments (trade and competition policies) with one common aim: strengthening the business case fundamentals for these technologies.
